What to Expect

Your First Therapy Session

EMDR is a powerful, evidence-based therapy that has helped countless individuals find relief, reclaim their sense of self, and move forward with greater confidence and peace.

Before beginning EMDR therapy, we will conduct a comprehensive and personalized assessment to ensure it is the right approach for you. This process is collaborative—you are an active participant in identifying the memories or experiences we will work through together.

Each session lasts 60 to 90 minutes and is tailored to your unique needs. Our goal is to help you process and integrate any distressing memories, reduce emotional intensity, and equip you with resilient coping strategies.

Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
Wooster's Leading EMDR and Counseling Therapist

Since I was about 12 years old, I knew that if I ever pursued college, it would be to become a therapist. I achieved that goal in 2018 and have been practicing for seven years. I have a special passion for working with individuals who have experienced generational trauma, childhood trauma, domestic violence, relationship trauma, sexual abuse, perfectionism, and ADHD/neurodivergence. I’m also deeply passionate about supporting parents who are striving to break generational cycles for themselves and their children, empowering them to become the best parents possible. I greatly value building genuine connections with my clients and believe a strong therapeutic relationship is essential. My approach to therapy is collaborative, fostering open and equal conversations. I prioritize honesty, respect, safety, vulnerability, and empowerment as key elements in creating a meaningful and effective therapeutic experience.

On a more personal note, I share my life with my husband and our two wonderful little boys. We’re passionate dog lovers and have two Dogo Argentinos (Lucius and Church). A special tribute to my girl Cleo, our beloved Pitbull, whom we sadly lost recently. I’ve also been keeping fish for several years and enjoy designing and maintaining several tanks.
